Bonnie Chauvin Jackson, 76, a native of Bayou Dularge, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010.


Mrs. Jackson was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. She worked for the Terrebonne Parish Clerk of Courts and was an avid gardener and animal lover. She loved to cook and cater to her friends and family, especially to her two young grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Jackson; daughters, Holly (Kevin) Broussard and Julie Jackson; sisters, Joan Ann (Charles) Cenac; and two grandchildren, Ashton Grace and Kelsey Jean Broussard.


She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lula Lovell Chauvin; and two brothers, Danny and Ronnie Chauvin.

She is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No.2.

In lieu of flowers the Jackson family request that donations be made to St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church Building Fund at 409 Funderburk Avenue, Houma, Louisiana 70364.
