Brenda Ann Costanza Collins, 72, a native of Napoleonville, La., and resident of Plattenville, La., died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013.
Mrs. Collins was a graduate of Assumption High School. She received a Bachelor of Science and Masters + 30 from Nicholls State University. She taught for 23 years in Assumption and Ascension Parishes and retired from Donaldsonville High School. She was a loving wife, mother and sister who opened her heart to everyone.
She is survived by her husband, Clifton Collins Sr.; daughters, Cindy and Mary Beth Cancienne; sons, Reid Jr. (Ha) and Craig Cancienne; four stepsons; sisters, Patricia (Vincent) Sotile and Mary (Michael) Wood; brothers, Tommy and Johnny (Vicky) Costanza; three grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren; and 16 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Alma Costanza; and brother, Albert Costanza.
Interment is at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Plattenville. (Ourso)
