Brenda Ann Griffin, 57, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011.
Mrs. Griffin was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was employed at Leonard Chabert Medical Center and was dedicated to her nursing practice. She was loved and will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Elives Griffin; parents, Paul and Jeanette Luke; sons, Blane (Amy) Pellegrin, Stephen and Brandon Griffin; daughters, Peggy (John) Dean and Brittinie Griffin; sister, Christine (Dave) Matherne; brother, Gary (Mila) Luke; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her, grandparents, Willis and Mable Luke.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Chauvin)
