Brent Boquet

Brent Charles Boquet, age 71, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday,July 28, 2018. He was a native of Bourg and a resident of Houma.

Brent is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kanoko Kamaji Boquet; sons, Jeffrey C. Boquet and wife, Yukiko, Tracey P. Boquet and Jason C. Boquet and wife, Megan; grandchildren, Alyssa, Sean, Dylan, Jazmyn, and Madisyn Boquet; brothers, Thomas P. Boquet and wife, Carolyn, Gary J. Boquet and wife, Rhoda, Glynn P. Boquet and wife, Lorina, Burt P. Boquet and wife, Cheryl, and Reed P. Boquet; sisters, Linda B. Caro and husband, Eugene Sr., Christine Naquin and husband, Ernest, Trudy B. Davis and husband, Dan , Lila B. Barthold and husband, Ken, and Tillie B. Lemoine and husband, Daniel; sisters-in-law, Gail Fabre and Pamela Voisin.

Brent retired from US Navy after 28 years of service as a Senior Chief Petty Officer. He studied refrigeration at the South Louisiana Vocation Technical School in Houma for 2 years. After finishing his course, he was employed by Blanchard’s A/C and Refrigeration for 24 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
