Brent J. “Country” Morvant, 51, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, August 15, 2007.
He is survived by his mother, Vivian D. Morvant; two brothers, Carl Morvant and Timothy Morvant; one nephew, Adam Morvant; two nieces, Patricia Wilson and Rachel Sims; and one stepdaughter, Tiffany St. John.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willis J. Morvant; and his grandparents, Willis C. Morvant and Marie Morvant and Louis A. Duet and Marie Duet.
Visitation is Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Genevieve Catholic Church. He will be buried in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
