Brian Christopher Hughes, 39, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died Friday, June 10, 2011.
Mr. Hughes was a member of the U.S. Army. He was Baptist.
He is survived by his father, Jessie Hughes; brother, Jermaine Hughes; and nephew, Jaden Hughes.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Hughes; and grandparents, Joseph and Irma Hankton Sr., Sallie Drake and N.C. Hughes.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, June 17, at Third Zion Baptist Church in Raceland with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Kennedy)
