Brian James Foret, 53, a native of Cut Off, La., and a resident of Galliano, La., died Thursday, May 15, at 11:20 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Doucet Foret; Mother, Elizabeth Pruett; son, Damian “Bink” Foret and wife April; daughter, Michelle Foret LeBlanc and husband John; brother, Keith Foret and wife Mary; sister, Cathy Gisclair and husband Curtis; and grandchildren, Brooke, Troy, Peyton, Isabella and Paul.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Foret Jr.
He was employed by the Apache Corporation of 37 years. He loved his family, hunting, fishing and catching and eating crabs.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, May 18 and 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 19, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. He will be buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
