Bruce “J-ray” Heinhuis, 57, a native of Indianapolis, In., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 11:06 a.m. Friday, January 2.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Ann Voisin Heinhuis; three sons, Shain Voisin, James J. Heinhuis and Jordan Aubin Heinhuis; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Thelma Moat Heinhuis; and one grandson, Michael J. Domangue.
He was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 8, at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church with burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
