Burton P. Falgout, 81, a native of Crown Point, La. and resident of Golden Meadow, La. died Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at 1:34 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Eula Mae Verdun Falgout; three sons, Burton, Danny, and Christopher Falgout; three daughters, Susan Boldwin, Nancy Dutka, and Kristina Gaudet; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Emma Walker Falgout; and three brothers, Asward, Henry, and Sidney Falgout.
Burton was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. He was retired from Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and L & M Boat-Truck. He was a World War II Marine veteran of the Korean War and a member of the VFW.
