Calvin James Callahan, 56, a native of Iberia Parish, La., and resident of Theriot, La., died Saturday, June 8, 2013.
Mr. Callahan worked for Offshore Specialty for many years as a crane operator.
He is survived by his son, James (Ginger) Callahan; mother, Annie Champagne; stepfather, Earl Champagne; brothers, Keith (Dinah) Callahan and Garon (Betty) Alario; sister, Tiffany (Lynn) Moore; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Callahan; son, Doug Callahan; father, James Callahan; grandparents, Desire Callahan, Lorena Thibodeaux and Joseph Sr. and Marie Bourque; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, and 8 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Chauvin Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
