October 6, 2011Carl Lee Palmature Sr., 72, a resident of Morgan City, La., died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011.
Mr. Palmature was a devoted husband, father and paw-paw who loved his family dearly. He loved life and loved being out on the bayous he grew up with. He will be missed.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marie Palmature; sons, Carl Jr. (Rhonda) and Troy Palmature; daughters, Cheryl (Lee) Shilling and Inez (Dennis) Mann; brothers, Jimmy and Lonzo Palmature; sister, Jearnell Buteaux; eight grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo Palmature and Rita Breaux; step-father, Ridley Breaux; and one great-grandchild.
Burial was at Morgan City Cemetery. (Twin City)
