Carl George Trosclair Jr., 59, a native of St. Charles community and resident of Chackbay, La., died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010.
Mr. Trosclair was retired after 30 years from Avondale Shipyards. He was an avid fisherman and an LSU and EDW baseball fan. He was much loved by his grandchildren and family.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Ockman Trosclair; sons, Shane (Keena), Steven (Linn) and Carl III (Alyssa) Trosclair; daughter, Emilee (Zeb) Folse; eight grandchildren, Camden, Seth, Brody, Caitlyn, Cole, Drew, and Amanda Trosclair and Izabella Folse; mother, Dorothy Trosclair; brothers, George, David and Todd Trosclair; and sisters, Sheryl Sanchez and Denise Billiot.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Trosclair Sr.; and his father-in-law, Wilson Ockman.
He is buried at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church Cemetery.
