Argument escalates; Raceland father charged in shooting

Carla Crochet, 45, a native and resident of Cut Off, LA., died Monday, March 19, 2007.
Visitation will be from 10 to 12 p.m., in which a mass will be held, Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Sacred Heart Church in Cut Off. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her parents, E.J. and Evelina Blanchard Crochet; two sons, Jared Johnson and Cory Croy; her daughter, Jami Johnson Adams and husband, Lance; her grandmother, Nora Terrebonne Crochet; her brothers, Scott Crochet and companion, Cindy Cantrelle, and Marty Crochet and wife, Tammy; and her neieces, Chelsey and Kristy Crochet.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Elmore Crochet Sr., and Marie Blanchard Matherne and Salvadore Blanchard.
She was a catholic.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
