Terrebonne sewerage drainage spending OK’d

Carlton “Wrench” Joseph Deroche Sr., 76, a native of Bourg, LA. and resident of Bayou Blue, LA., died at 1:12 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2007.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, LA. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Bettencourt Deroche; four sons, Carlton J. “T” Deroche Jr. and wife, Emma, John W. Deroche and wife, Sherri, David K. Deroche and Toby D. Deroche and wife, Lori; three daughters, Judy D. Chaisson and husband, Dennis, Vickie “BB” Briggs and husband, Jay, and Wendy “Wee Wee” Brien and husband, Roy; one brother, Robert Deroche; one sister, Betty Ann Deroche Dupre; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Sr. and Cecile Naquin Deroche; three brothers, Alton, Joseph “Speedy” Hebert and Leroy Deroche; and one sister, Christine Deroche Rakin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made for diabetes or cancer.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
