Carlton Joseph “CJ” Casteigne, 74, a native of Brusly St. Martin and resident of Pierre Part, La., died Wednesday, June 29, 2011.
Mr. Casteigne was employed by McDermott in Amelia, La., for 29 years. He began his employment as a helper and retired as the General Superintendent. He had an extreme passion for hunting and received great pleasure from spending time out in the woods and at his camp in Grand Bayou.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy Casteigne; children, Carl (Lynnette), Creig (Amy) and Lori Casteigne and Lisa (Vernon) Alleman; sister, Geneva Sanchez; brother, Calvin Casteigne; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Isidore and Agnes Casteigne.
Entombment was at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church Mausoleum. (Ourso)
