Carol Thomas, 58, a native of Lafourche Crossing, La. and resident of (Johnson Ridge) Thibodaux, La. died Friday, December 7, 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Thomas; one son, Dion Thomas; three daughters, Carolyn Sylvester, LaKeshia Johnson, and Kendra Sugarman; two brothers, Wilbert Thomas and Lionel Thomas; three sisters, Evola Crawford, Shirley Hampton, and Lula Thomas; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Eldora Thomas; one sister, Ledora Thomas; and his grandparents, Ben and Stella Thomas.
Carol was a devout Baptist and a member of St. Paul Baptist Church. He served on the Deacon Board. His hobbies included watching football games and fishing.
Visitation is Thursday, December 13, 2007, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am, with the funeral to follow at St. Paul Baptist Church at Lafourche Crossing. He will be buried in the church cemetery.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
