Carrie Aucoin Daigle, a resident of Morgan City, La., died Friday, Dec. 25, 2009, at Thibodaux Regional.


Mrs. Daigle enjoyed cooking and tending to her flower garden.


She is survived by her husband, Louis Daigle; sons, Aaron Jr. (Valarie) and Michael Daigle; daughters, Sharel (Eric Sr.) Hebert, Karel (Robert) Landry and Janet (James) Kinkle; brothers, Henry Sr. and Leonard Aucoin; sisters, Beatrice Landry and Margie Aucoin; and eight grandchildren, Eric Hebert Jr., Kristen Hebert, Austin Hebert, Nikki Landry Steward, Lauren Landry Migues, Jenna Landry, Chelsea Kinkle and Megan Daigle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonce and Anna Lee Aucoin; five brothers and one sister.

She is buried at Morgan City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made in Mrs. Daigle’s name to the Ethel Precht Breast Cancer 3K, 165 W. Precht Road, Lake Charles, La., 70360.
