June 10, 2010Carril J. Cooks Sr., 70, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of California, died Sunday, May 23, 2010.
He was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by his mother, Mable Stepter; sons, Romal (Jeanette), Harold, David, and Carril J. Jr. (Dawn) Cooks; sisters, Janice (Dewitt) Lewis and Gwen (Horace) Horton; brothers, Alvin (Vickie) Cooks, Rodney, Graelin Sr. (Landria) and Burnell (Dee) Stepter; four grandchildren; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
