Carrol Savoie

Carrol Joseph Savoie, 80, a native and resident of Houma, La. died Sunday, December 2, 2007, at 12:00 a.m.

He is survived by his son, Daniel “Danny” Savoie; two daughters, Mary Martin and her husband John and Donna Prestenbach and her husband Michael; two brothers, Paul and Benjamin “Buck” Savoie; one sister, Valerie Himel; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Price Savoie; his parents, Paul and Antoinette Use’ Savoie; one granddaughter, Shalon Belanger; and three sister, Bessie Brunet, Elsie Savoie; and Jeanette Savoie.

Carrol was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma. He was a United States Air Force Veteran.

Visitation is Tuesday, December 4, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma. A military service will be held at 10:30 a.m. He will be buried in St. Ann Cemetery in Bourg, La.
