Catherine Breaux Dilsaver, 85, a native of Morgan City, La., died Monday, Sept. 6, 2010.


Mrs. Dilsaver was a co-founder of the Morgan City Archives where she became curator. She volunteered her services to the compilation and amassing of historical information now housed in the Morgan City Archives. She remained an active member of the Archives Commission for many years.


She is survived by her sons, John (Suzanne) and Douglas Dilsaver; daughter, Peggy Clark; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9 at Twin City Funeral Home and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 10, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Morgan City Mausoleum.
