Catherine P. Punch, 77, a native of Raceland, La., and a resident of Valentine, La., died Sunday, June 15, at 2:40 a.m.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Henry Punch; son, Henry Punch Jr. and wife Brenda; daughters, Cathy P. Hebert, Christine P. Chaisson and husband Dennis, and Cynthia Punch; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Laura Martin Pertuit; brothers, Junius Pertuit, Samuel Pertuit and Lloyd Pertuit; and sister, Dola Pertuit Gaudet.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed bingo, watching TV, her dog and spending time with her family. She was Catholic and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, La. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
