Cathy Marie “Bird” James, 52, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., Wednesday, July 21, 2010.
Mrs. James was a seamstress and a hairstylist. She was Baptist and attended New Vision Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Akisha Davis Turner and Watkisha Renee James; brothers, Larry, Michael and Robert James; sister, Ruby Wright; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lillie W. James and Robert Lee Jackson; and grandparents, Usie & Emily Williams.
She is buried at Woodlawn Ranch Cemetery.
