Celestine “Sugar” Ingram, 74, a native and resident of Raceland, La. died Wednesday, December 05, 2007.


She is survived by one son, Ronald T. Ingram; three daughters, Marie A. Flowers, Elaine J. Bias, and Marsha A. Turner; three sister, Emma Adams, Shirley Johnson, and Thelma Mouton; two brothers, Willie Ingram and Joseph Ingram; twelve grandchildren; and six great grandchildren; and one Godchild.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Lizzie and Mason Ingram, Sr.; one brother, Mason Ingram, Jr.; four sisters, Sarah Green, Florence Fountain, Mary Ingram, and Cora Hawkins; and one great grandson.

Celestine was a devout Baptist and a member of St. Mathews Baptist Church.

Visitation is Tuesday, December 11, 2007, from 9:00am until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Mathews Baptist Church in Mathews, La. She will be buried in the Church Cemetery.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
