Celia Mobert Burke, 74, a native of New Iberia, La., and resident of Patterson, La., died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013.
Ms. Burke was a fun and loving person. She enjoyed cooking and spent her days as a housewife tending to her family.
She is survived by her son, Edwin Burke; daughters, Tina Grossie and Gwen Vincent; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Isabelle Mobert; and brother, Oscar Mobert.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at Hargrave Funeral with services to follow. (Hargrave)
