Celia Wagner Ray, 89, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Friday, March 2, 2012.
Mrs. Ray was Baptist and a member of St. Luke Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Leroy Sr., Jessie and Donald Sr. Ray; daughters, Evelyn Williams, Carol Ray and Bertha Thierry; 27 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ray Sr.; parents, Adam and Louise Wagner; sons, Thomas Jr., Arthur and Ronald Ray; brother, Arthur Wagner Sr.; sisters, Savannah Williams and Mary Hyde; and three grandchildren.
Burial was at St. Luke Baptist Church Cemetery. (Community)
