Chanta Lashawn Gray Hurst, 33, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, July 10, 2011.
Ms. Hurst was a member of Allen Chapel AME Church.
She is survived by her former husband, Frank Hurst; mother, Nadine Gray; sons, Frank Jr., Clindon and A’Myron Hurst; stepdaughter, Jasmine Hurst; brothers Adonis (Sabrina) Gray and Erastanard Goff; sisters, Litisha Gray and Keiwanda Stripling; and grandparents, Barbara Goff and Bernice Gray.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Gray; and grandparents, Garrison Goff Jr. and Roy Gray Sr.
Visitation will be 12:30p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 23, Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Kennedy)
