Charles “Charlie” Herbert Rice Jr., 71, a native of Reedville, Va., and a resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, April 13, at 2:30 p.m.
Services will be held at Bristow Faulkner Funeral Home in Saluda, Va., with burial in Roseland Cemetery in Reedville.
He is survived by his sons, Bryan Rice and wife, Susie, and Drew Rice and wife, Danell Frisella Rice of Houma; brother, Edwin W. Rice of Reedville; sister, Leanna Hicks and husband, Bill Hicks; and grandchildren, Abigail Rice, Audrey Rice, Taylor Drew Rice and Hayden Charles Rice.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudia Hammock Rice; and his parents, Charles Herbert Rice Sr. and Lydia Levinia.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
