Charles Joseph Cenac Sr., a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 7:38 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011.

Mr. Cenac was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the VFW. He was a tug boat captain for most of his life who enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He was King of the Krewe of Terreanians in 1968 and a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church.


He is survived by his wife, Joan Cenac; sons, Charles Jr. (Karen) and Jody Cenac; and grandson, Jacob Cenac.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Virgie Cenac; and brother, Alfred Cenac.
