Charles Joseph Dutreix, 51, a native of Edgard, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, March 9, at 11:23 p.m.
He is survived by his mother, Anna Mae Kliebert Dutreix; sister, Charmaine Roll; niece, Amy Marie Roll; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edmond S. Dutreix Jr.
He was an educator at Central Catholic High in Morgan City for 15 years and spent the last five years at E.D. White Catholic School in Thibodaux.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the E.D. White building fund.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux with mass to follow. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery in Edgard.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
