Charles S. Cunningham Jr., 63, a native of Atlanta, Ga., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 6:35 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2010.


Mr. Cunningham was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and enjoyed music, fishing and sports.


He is survived by his father, Charles Stephen Cunningham Sr.; brother, Myles (Gail) Cunningham of Houma; nieces, Courtney (Scott) Thigpen and Katie Cunningham; and great-nieces Madison Cunningham and Brooklyn Thigpen.

He was predeceased by his mother, Marion Boudreaux Cunningham; grandparents, Clifford and Hattie Cunningham, and Clovis and Clara Boudreaux.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 19, at Chauvin Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

He will be buried at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray.
