Chris “Hoss” Michael Dupre, 52, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, March 16, at 11 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Schaubhut Dupre of Houma; daughters, Jessica Dupre and fiancé, Michael LeCompte, Tristan Dupre and fiancé, Adam Dozier, and Dani Dupre of Houma; brothers, Hubert “Dunnie” Dupre Jr., of Maui, Hi., and Terry Dupre Sr. of Houma; and grandchildren, Dorian Ledet, Julie LeCompte, Coby Dozier and Lexie Dozier.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Dupre and Audrey Duplantis Dupre; brothers, Carl Dupre Sr. and Glenn Dupre; sister, Claudette Dupre Cunningham; and his grandparents, Irvin and Elise Duplantis and Mr. and Mrs. John Dupre.
He was a self-employed carpenter and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a wonderful friend. He enjoyed golf and fishing and will be truly missed. He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
He was buried at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery.
