Christine “Teen” Elizabeth Verrett, 92, a resident of Morgan City, La., died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011.
She is survived by her daughters, Earline Jones and Geneva Parker; brothers, Victor, Felix and Louis Gaudet; sister, Lorena Aucoin; grandchildren, Charlotte (Rodney) Walker and James Jones; one great-granddaughter; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Verrett; parents, Felix and Rosalie Gaudet; and brothers, Hembley, Arnes, John and Gilday Gaudet.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, and 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21 at Hargrave Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial at Morgan City Cemetery. (Hargrave)
