Christopher John Daigle, 57, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012.
Mr. Daigle served as an activist for gays and lesbians, abused women and children and minority groups.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Daigle; brothers, Troy and Scott Daigle; and sister, Jennifer Clement.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Daigle; and partner, Rick Cosgriff.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Thibodaux with services to follow. (Thibodaux)
