Clarence “Pecky” Colwart Jr., 77, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Chauvin, La., died Saturday, May 3, at 3:20 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Henry Colwart; sons, Elwood Colwart and Clarence Colwart III and wife Elizabeth; daughter, Laura Bynum and companion James Skidmore; brother, William Colwart; sisters, Claire DiFulco, Harriett Faucheaux and Judith Sewer; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Flavia Guillot Colwart and Clarence Colwart Sr.; and sister, Marie Ledet.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, May 9, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
