Gov.’s wife joins effort to build Gray Habitat home

May 20, 2010Claude Leo Austin, 55, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, La., died on Sunday, May 9, 2010.
Mr. Austin was a parishioner of the Living Gospel Church and a retired welder.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Williams Austin; sons, Dibiasi, Claude and Omar Austin; brothers, Leroy Sr., Gene Sr. and Nelson Austin; sisters, Geraldine Whitrack, Rita Mae Jeff, Iona Jasper, Cynthia Calloway, Joan Quil Calloway and Sarah Austin; and 10 grandchildren.
He is buried at Southdown Cemetery.
