Claudia Eulalie Bergeron Champagne, 84, a native of Paradis and resident of Des Allemands, died Saturday, July 7, 2007.
She is survived by one daughter, Shirley LeBlanc and her husband Marvin; one sister, Josephine Arceneaux; one grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence J. Champagne; her parents, Adam and Lize Griffin Bergeron; four brothers, Alex, Felix, Lucien and Percy Bergeron; and five sisters, Enite Monier, Leonise LeBlanc, Leona Hymel, Clothile Arceneaux and Lucille Zeringue.
Claudia was a member of Des Allemands Mennonite Church.
Visitation is Wednesday, July 11, 2007 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm and Thursday, July 12, 2007 from 8:00am until 11:00am, with the funeral to follow at Des Allemands Mennonite Church. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Mennonite Scholarship Fund.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
