Clifton B. Ayche, 68, a native of Thibodaux, La. and resident of Marrero, La. died at Louisiana Specialty Hospital Thursday, November 1, 2007, at 9:38 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Iola Minner Ayche; his children, Dean, Jeffery and Michael Lofton, Medric and Clifton B. Ayche, Jr., Carnella Marks Billizone and her husband Ernest, and Crystal Weaver; his father, Medric Ayche; brother-in-law of Eddie, William, Wardell, Nolan, and Rebecca McIntyre, Burnetta McDonald, Silvia Joseph and her husband Walter, and Angel Bachemin and her husband Lionel; 18 grandchildren; and numerous relatives.


He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Williams; and two sisters, Leola Tucker and Gertrude Collins.

He is buried in Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale, La.

Davis Mortuary Service is in charge of the arrangements.
