Cloteal “Bert” Warren, 83, a native of Chauvin, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Monday, June 9.


She is survived by her sons, David Warren and wife Janice, Rudolph Warren of Chauvin, Charles Warren of Houma; daughters, Becky Cook and husband MacArthur Cook and Cloteal Williams and husband Leonard Williams, Sr. both of Houma; brothers, William Jasper and Stewart Jasper, Sr. and wife Peggy of Houma; sisters, Earline Carter and Lucille Carter of Chauvin and Glenda Holliday of Houma; nine grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Warren; parents, David Nash and Thelma Nash Jasper and Elijah Jasper; brothers, Kermit Nash, Elijah Jasper, Jr. and Raymond Jasper, Sr.; sisters, Mary Nash Davis and Myrtle Bolden Aubert; and maternal grandparents, Eugene and Cloteal McKay and Joseph Verret.

She was Baptist and a homemaker.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 13, at Community Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 14, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Chauvin. She will be buried at Bisland Cemetery.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
