Clothilde Adams

Clothilde Mire Adams, 98, a native and resident of Labadieville, La., died at 3:48 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2007.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m to funeral time Wednesday at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux, La.

She is survived by two sons, Paul Ruben Adams and Karl Adams Sr.; one daughter, Sylvia Falcon; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, O’Neil Adams; her parents, Dennis Mire and Eugenie LeRay Mire; one daughter, Ruth Bertha Adams; eight brothers, Abdon, Jerome, Andrew, Emile, Claude, Francis, Paul and Russell; and four sisters, Mary Gaiennie, Linda Adams, Viola Adams and Anna Blanchard.

Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
