Cody Gaudet

Cody P. “Motion” Gaudet, 19, a native of Houma and resident of Labadieville, La., died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010.

He is survived by his parents, Celeste and John; biological father, Michael Braud; dad, Jason Boudreaux; sisters, Brie’ and Kerstin Christenson; brother, Kade Christenson; grandmothers, Dianne Gaudet and Yvonne Christenson; grandfathers, Earl Gaudet, Clarence Christenson and Gerald Boudreaux; great-grandmother, Marie Ponvelle; uncles, Brad Gaudet, Arthur Pennison Sr., Scott, Brent and Rod Christenson, Brent Meaux and Pete Boudreaux; aunts, Angelette Pennison, Nancy Boudreaux, Heidi Meaux and Susan Braud; cousins, Arthur Pennison Jr., Renne’ Pennison, Thaddeus Pennison, Ben Boudreaux, Zack Boudreaux, Aimme and Scott Bird and Rodney Braud; and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Brenda Boudreaux; great-grandfather, Eddie Ponvelle; great-grandmother, Gertrude Gaudet; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis P. Braud.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville. Mass will follow at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Mr. Gaudet will be buried at St. Philomena Catholic Church Cemetery.
