Cora Ross, 57, a native of Gibson, La., died Monday, June 16, 2014.
She is survived by her sons, Jeremy Shelvin and Treymone Williams; stepson, Clayton Williams; daughters, Rasheeda Shelvin and Nicole Williams; brothers, Robert and James and Elijah III Ross; sisters, Bettie Williams, Donna Johnson and Carrie White; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah and Gertrude Ross; daughter, Cantrelle Shelvin; stepdaughter, Ellestine Wesley; stepson, Cortney Williams; and brother, Louis Ross.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Gibson with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Community)
