Landry and Boustany agree on region’s needs
November 14, 2011Cora T. Thomas, 83, a native and resident of Napoleonville, La., died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011.
Mrs. Thomas was Baptist.
She is survived by her daughters, Clementine and Cora Thomas, Ella Green, Helen Holly, Flora Jones, Doris Gustave, Carolyn Daniels and Antoinette Batiste; son, Eric Thomas; brothers, Robert Sr. and Carol Thomas; sister, Dorothy Coleman; 30 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; and 26 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Thomas Sr.; parents, George and Harriet Thomas; sons, Herman, Adolph Jr. and Nathan Thomas; brothers, George Jr., Gerald, Edward and Willie Thomas; and sister, Carolyn Brown.
Visitation will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at New Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Napoleonville with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Kennedy)
