Crystal Chauvin Broussard, 55, a native of Franklin, La., and resident of Baldwin, La., died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012.
Ms. Broussard was a longtime certified nursing assistant and private sitter who enjoyed taking care of other people. She loved spending time with her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Eric (Kimberly) and Dwayne (Monnette) Broussard; five grandchildren; mother, Sylvia DeMahy; siblings, Midge Fulmer, Vanessa Soprano, Brad and Tessie Frederick, Lee DeMahy and Kayla Tyler; former husband, Preston Broussard; companion, Lonnie Boudreaux; stepbrothers; and stepsister.
She was preceded in death by her father, William DeMahy; sister, Rhonda Loustalot; and niece, Ceaira DeMahy. (Ibert’s)
