Dana Thompson Braud, 50, a native of Breckenridge, Texas, and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Braud Sr.; sons, Chad (Lacy) and Bruce Jr. (Amber) Braud; daughters, Michelle (Poncho) Chiasson, Theresa Boudreaux and Shantelle (Philip) Cantrelle; brothers, Dean (Patt) and Michael (Peggy) Thompson; sisters, Caroline (Kirby) Matherne, Tammy (Randall) Barker and Jacqueline Naquin; and 14 grandchildren, Anastasia Adams, Alexis and Aidan Chiasson, Chance Foret, Faith Braud, Dakota, Justin, and Austin Leblanc, Aaron and Drew Robichaux, Raelynn Michel, and Nick, Nate, and Abby Kate Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin “Slick” and Mary Jane Beal Thompson; and two godchildren, Danielle Naquin and Reva Braud.
She is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Thibodaux)
