Danh Van Truong, 51, a native of Vietnam and a resident of Amelia, La., died Tuesday, January 27.
He is survived by his wife, Thu Thi Nguyen; parents, Lac Van Truong and Ro Thi Dang; sons, Tung Truong and Quan Truong; daughters, Dung Truong and Dong Truong-Don; brothers, Hiep Van Truong, Dat Van Truong, Binh Van Truong and Sen Van Truong; sisters, Du Thi Truong, Dinh Thi Truong, Vinh Thi Truong and Bong Van Truong; and grandchildren, Timothy Truong, Elizabeth Nguyen, Troy Truong, Antonio Nguyen, Phi Truong, Viviana Tran and Alayna Dan.
He was preceded in death by his son, Phuc Truong; and daughter, Phuong Truong.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, January 31, at Samart Funeral Home.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
