Daniel “Danny” Trahan Jr., 47, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Feb. 8.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Hille Trahan; his parents, Daniel Trahan Sr. of Houma and Mary Babin Smith of Stonewall, Ms.; two sons, Nathan and Adam Trahan; two stepsons, Michael Winn and Adam Clement; four brothers, David, Stephen, Joey and Jonathan Trahan of Houma; and three sisters, Angela Trahan of Baker, La., Vickie Trahan of Houma and Mary White and husband, Larry Sr., of Chauvin, La.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norris and Helene Babin, Lawrence and Etta Tastet and Clinton Trahan; and one brother, Thomas Trahan.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help with funeral expenses are preferred.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at St. Anthony Cemetery in Bayou Black.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
