October 27, 2011Danny “Ice Water” Young, 34, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Young; devoted friend, Laninfa Franklin; daughters, Kayla Franklin and Quiniya Smith; brothers, Gary, Troy, Raphael and Tyrinne Young; sisters, Tina, Jane, Wanda and Desha Young, Jamie Raymond and Bianca and Faith Washington; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Griffin Young Sr.; uncle, Isiah Young; stepfather, Horace Washington.
Visiting will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Williams & Southall Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at Allen Chapel Cemetery. (Williams & Southall Funeral)
