Toll revenue not enough to make bond payments

Darral “Skimo” Palmature, 68, a native of Morgan City, La., died Friday, Feb. 9, 2011.
Mr. Palmature was retired from McDermott Fabricators Inc., where he worked as a drilling consultant. He was an avid golfer, loved football and was always eager to spend time with his Godchild. Generous to a fault, he was loved by his family and friends. He enjoyed woodworking and was a master at finished carpentry and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter; two grandchildren; brothers Leeland (Cathy) and Anthony (Shelley) Palmature; sister, Joanne Holliman; and many nieces and nephews.
He is buried at Morgan City Cemetery. (Hargrave)
