David Paul Becnel, 44, a native of Vacherie, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 11:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, 2010.
Mr. Becnel was a volunteer for Protector’s Fire Company No. 2 in Thibodaux.
He is survived by Lil David; companion, Esther Olinde; parents, Larry and Ruth Rome Becnel; brother, Faron Becnel; sisters, Karen Becnel, Roberta (Will) Boquet, Gayle (C.J.) Louque and Joanne (Vernon) Nassar; and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harris “Toot” and Josephine “Feen” Becnel, and Victorin and Altha Rome.
He is buried at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
