Tourney gives teams early look at competition
December 29, 2009David A. Bourgeois, 57, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009.
An avid sportsman, Mr. Bourgeois loved hunting and fishing. He was an advocate for coastal restoration.
He is survived by his wife, Lynne Landry Bourgeois; son, Jacob Bourgeois; daughter, Elizabeth Bourgeois; grandchild, Aleah Elizabeth Bourgeois; mother, Marie Louise Delatte Bourgeois; brothers, Terry Zenon Bourgeois and Michael Arthur Bourgeois; and sister, Cheryl Bourgeois Soignier.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thierry Zenon Bourgeois; grandparents, Zenon Lenn Bourgeois and Henriette Leonard Bourgeois, and Felix Arthur Delatte Sr. and Marie Cenac Delatte.

He is buried at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral Cemetery in Thibodaux.
